How To Recondition Your Car

How To Recondition Your Car

Aaron Baird owns West Coast Recon, a mobile car reconditioning company. Based in southern California, the company offers a financially viable alternative to the traditional body shop as it can do on-the-spot repairs for a fraction of the price. Here, Baird discusses why his business is able to save you time, money, and a lot of hassle.

Cleaning Carpet Stains in Your Car: Many people mistakenly believe that a ripped or dirty carpet in their car needs a full replacement, but this isn’t the case. It is possible to repair car carpeting, and even dye it so it looks like new.

Fixing a Bumper Scrape: Fixing a bumper scrape is probably 80% of what we do. This is our target job because every single car in southern California will need to have this procedure done at some point or another.

Fixing a Car at the End of Its Lease: When your lease is over, the last thing you want to do is pay a high penalty because of a few dents and scratches. Paying to get your car reconditioned is a lot cheaper, and your insurance rates will not go up either.

Fixing Minor Dents and Dings: Also called paintless dent removal, this is one of the most complicated things we do. Basically, it allows you to remove car dents while leaving the integrity of the paint job intact.

Getting the Perfect Color Match for Your Car: With West Coast Recon, you can rest assured that we will match your original color perfectly and then airbrush the chips with paint and clear coat, saving you even more time and money.

Headlight Refinishing: Usually when headlights are old or have been left outside frequently, they begin to turn yellow and milky, so they are not clear anymore. We can refinish them quickly and efficiently to return them to their bright appearance.

Increasing the Resale Value of Your Car: If you are considering selling your vehicle, there is no doubt that the better it looks, the more money you will get. Not only will it look more aesthetically pleasing, but potential buyers will think it has undergone a lot of love and care. Having it reconditioned before you sell is the only way to go.

Interior Car Repairs: We offer varied services for the interior of your car, and we do it all at the fraction of what a traditional body shop will charge. We can redye your faded door panels, re-dye your carpets, and fix minor carpet tears and burns. We provide professional craftsmanship and top quality services for you.

Painting Your Car: We can do small airbrush chip repairs, combined with paintless dent removals, to have your car looking as good as possible in little time, and for a lot less money.

Repainting Car Mirrors and Door Moldings: Car mirrors and door moldings begin to look unsightly when they are crying out for a new paint job, but there’s no need to spend a week at the body shop. We can do this for you in a short turnaround time.

Repairing Rock Chips or Scratches: There are two main ways to carry out this procedure. We either use a tiny paintbrush or do airbrush repair. It depends on the type and size of the scratch or chip. Whatever procedure we choose, we always make sure to do it right.

Repairing Interiors of High-End Cars: No matter what car you drive, you want it to stay looking good. But if you drive a Porsche, you may have an even bigger vested interest. We can do everything to make your car’s interior looking great, from dyeing the leather on your seats to keeping your steering wheel in tip-top shape.

Restoring Leather in Your Car: Car leather begins to fade over time, but there is no reason to pay to have those seats or other parts of your car replaced. We can dye the leather so that it looks as good as new, and thanks to advanced computer technology, we will guarantee that the color matches perfectly. We know that you’ll be happy once the job is done.

Why You Should Choose West Coast Recon: We are two brothers with more than 20 years of combined experience in the field, and our business keeps getting stronger and stronger. We are affordable, professional, and we know what we’re doing. We take away the hassle and leave with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Why You Should Use a Mobile Car Repair Service: Why do you pay a lot of money to take your car to a body shop when you can have professional craftsmen come to you? We come straight to you and do the job a lot quicker for less money.
